Twice a day is plenty
How fast the three gauges drop, bedtime, napping and notification rules.
Dodami never asks for your whole day. Water it and give it sunlight once in the morning and once in the evening, and that is plenty. Here is why, and what to look at.
Three gauges
The garden shows Water, Sunlight and Mood. Watering fills Water, Sunlight fills Sunlight and petting lifts Mood. The fuller they are, the better Dodami grows.
| Gauge | Awake | Asleep |
|---|---|---|
| Water | 5 | 1.5 |
| Sunlight | 4 | 0 |
| Mood | 4 | 0 |
Fill everything in the morning and it lasts until evening, and almost nothing drops while Dodami sleeps. That is why twice a day is enough. Some kinds want more or less water or sunlight; each Sprout Book page says so.
Full means “no thanks”
Water and sunlight only work when the gauge is below 90. If it is already full, Dodami shakes its head. Tapping more does not make it grow faster, so relax.
Bedtime
By default Dodami sleeps from 23:00 to 07:00. You can set 6 to 10 hours in settings, once a day.
Zzz… mm…
Napping
When Water or Sunlight reaches 0, Dodami takes a nap. Growing pauses, and nothing else changes. A drink of water wakes it up with a big stretch.
At most one notification a day
By default we send at most 1 notification a day, up to 2 if you choose. Nothing between 21:30 and 08:00. The only extra is the day a flower first blooms.
Nice extras when you have a minute
- The Sunshine Jar fills in 8 hours. Empty it when you drop by.
- A new Daily Seed arrives every day. Plant it in the Mini Pot and a wildflower opens 6 hours later.
- From garden level 4, special care (Singing, Storytime, Sun Walk, Mist) is available once every 3 hours per pot.
