- What we collect: a random account ID, a device token (stored only as a hash), device/OS/app version, your garden and pet data, time zone, language; optionally pet name, nickname, friend codes, and push subscription data; an age band (we never store your birth year); IP address and request logs for security; pseudonymous usage events for analytics (you can opt out). We do not collect email, phone number, or real name.
- Purposes and legal bases (GDPR Art. 6): providing the service (contract), security and fraud prevention, analytics (legitimate interests, opt-out available), push notifications and personalized advertising cookies (consent).
- Ads: rewarded ads appear only on the web/PWA version, only when you choose to watch them. Google may use cookies for ad delivery and measurement. Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a consent message. You can turn off personalized ads at https://myadcenter.google.com. The browser extension and desktop app contain no ads.
- Children: users below the applicable age (under 14 in Korea, under 13 in the U.S., under the national age of digital consent in the EEA/UK) get no analytics, non-personalized ads only (child-directed treatment), and no account linking or purchases.
- Transfers: Cloudflare (U.S. and global), Google (U.S.), browser push services (U.S.), and Paddle (U.K., if purchases are enabled). Transfers rely on these providers' standard contractual safeguards.
- Retention: until you delete your account (backups purged within [30] days); security logs [30] days; analytics [14] months.
- Your rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability (Settings > My Data, or email us). EEA/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
- Chrome Web Store: our use of extension data adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
