Choosing a bloom form
Care shapes traits, traits decide the flower. Plus special care, secret forms and Shiny.
The same Dodami can bloom differently depending on how you cared for it. Each kind of care raises a trait, and the highest trait decides the bloom form.
Traits decide the flower
| Trait | Raised by | Bloom form |
|---|---|---|
| Bright | Sunlight, Sun Walk | Sunny |
| Fresh | Watering, Mist | Misty |
| Cozy | Storytime, Snack Cookie | Cotton |
| Cheery | Singing | Jingle |
Traits build up from Twin Leaf through Sprig. Once it reaches Bud they are locked, so lean into the care you want before then.
Special care tips the scale
Watering and sunlight add 1 to a trait; special care adds 3 at once. Special care unlocks at garden level 4. Singing raises Cheery, Storytime raises Cozy, Sun Walk raises Bright and Mist raises Fresh.
Secret forms
Meet the right conditions and a special coloring appears on top of the form: Moonlit if at least half of the care happened at night, Rainbow if all four traits stay balanced with plenty of special care. Exact conditions are on the drop rates page.
Shiny
A bloom has a 2% chance to come out with gold-edged petals, or 4% if Dodami never napped while growing. Shiny combines with the form, so it is recorded as, say, Shiny Cotton.
